Shell Solar recently joined the top tier players in the solar PV industry when it integrated its business with Siemens Solar. Shell Solar has supplied countries around the world with solar cells and modules totalling over 300 MW. This represents around one fifth of total solar power installed worldwide.

Shell Solar has access to both mono and poly crystalline cell technologies (the current main stream solar cell technologies) and to CIS, a thin film technology, possibly the next generation of PV technology.

The latest innovation in solar modules are the CIS (copper indium diselenide) modules from Shell. Combining thin film prices and crystalline performance, the ST Series are ideal for smaller systems. Attractive solid black look, with heavy duty aluminum frames. For easy installation, 6 foot pigtail leads are used on the ST5, ST10 and ST20, while the ST40 has a junction box.
