Shell Solar recently joined the top tier players in the solar PV industry when it integrated its business with Siemens Solar. Shell Solar has supplied countries around the world with solar cells and modules totalling over 300 MW. This represents around one fifth of total solar power installed worldwide.

New for 2004 are the large format SQ modules. These high output panels use 72 cells, and produce 24 volts. Their 2:1 aspect ratio makes them attractive and easier to install. Ideal for larger residential and industrial systems.
