I use my Jazz 250 like an extension cord. I was never good at winding the cords up anyway's. I simply plug what I am using into to and get going. If the Jazz 250 is not powerful enough, then I roll out my xPower 1500. I haven't found anything that I have wanted to run as a portable that it couldn't handle.
What is a portable powerpack or portable power unit?
A portable power unit (aka Portable PowerPack) is merely an inverter combined with a battery and a charger in a useful consumer oriented package. It is possible to make portable power units using the parts, but it is harder to achieve the results provided by Xantrex intelligently designed units.
