Go Power! Smart Chargers were designed specifically to extend the life of deep-cycle battery banks. With a unique microprocessor controlled electronic design, Go Power! Smart Chargers offer multi-stage charging to accurately recharge and maintain battery banks without electrolyte loss. Go Power! Smart Chargers are ideal for wet cell batteries and any application using sealed or gelled batteries.

For your basic charging needs, the GPSC-12-10A clips onto your battery terminals and plugs into a standard AC outlet. These units feature an LED that displays state of charge.

All other Go Power! Smart Chargers features include an LED display of battery charging state, short circuit and over-temperature protection, and a battery type selector switch.

These models can charge 2 battery banks simultaneously, so Smart Chargers are perfect for marine and RV systems.

Go Power! Smart Chargers feature a three stage charging process, more sophisticated and faster charging than conventional transformer type chargers. The charging stages are:

1. Bulk Stage: Constant current charging at a high voltage level.
2. Absorption Stage: Tapering current for the last 10-20% of charge.
3. Float Stage: Lower voltage float mode to prevent electrolyte loss.
