Smart, Multi-Stage Battery Charger

Designed to be hard-wired into your electrical system, the Truecharge 10TB is a 10 amp, continuous-duty charger ideal for deep cycle batteries when recharging from a source between 90-135 VAC. Truecharge 10TB incorporates advanced microprocessor-controlled switching technology, which results in a light, compact design that is easy to install. Using a three-stage sequence, Truecharge 10TB delivers an accurate charge every time - even when the incoming voltage is from a poorly regulated AC source. By monitoring charging voltage, current, and time, Truecharge 10TB can make a smart decision about when to stop charging. Truecharge 10TB can be configured for gel or flooded battery types to charge safely and effectively.

Truecharge 10TB will automatically check the condition of your batteries every 21 days and top them up when necessary. Two isolated outputs allow charging of two separate battery banks. Built to last, Truecharge battery chargers are housed in a rugged aluminum chassis and use conformal-coated circuit boards.

Charges Two Banks Simultaneously

Truecharge 10TB features two outputs that are isolated from one another for simultaneous charging of two battery banks. One bank can be used for the engine, while the other is used to recharge the house bank or two house bank batteries can be recharged at the same time. Truecharge 10TB is also able to recharge completely discharged batteries (when voltage approaches 0 VDC).

Microprocessor-Controlled

The battery charger's accurate delivery of the microprocessor-controlled, three-stage charge reduces the risk of overcharged or boiled batteries.

Automatic safe shutdown

Truecharge 10TB offers over-temperature shutdown, overload protection and short circuit protection. The battery charger has an ignition protection rating, allowing installation in gasoline engine compartments. The charger's input and output are galvanically isolated to protect against corrosion.

Filtered DC Output

Truecharge 10TB's filtered DC output reduces ripple, interference and noise and helps prolong the life of the batteries.

Wide AC Input Voltage Range

The battery charger is able to handle a wide AC input voltage range, from 90 to 135 volts AC at 50 or 60 Hertz.
