Prowatt 600 is an affordable, mid-range power inverter with a surge to 1200 watts.

Prowatt 600 provides reliable power for recreation, leisure or work applications. Intelligent design makes Prowatt 600 light, durable and easy to install. It can be attached directly to deep-cycle batteries and has three AC receptacles. In both recreational and commercial applications, Prowatt 600 can be used instead of a generator for low power or intermittent loads that include 27" TVs, 5-amp hour power tools, blenders, work lights and bread makers.

Since Prowatt 600 provides continuous power up to 600 watts, it is perfect for items such as 27" TVs, fax machines, drills, portable stereos and fans. Prowatt 600 can run a 27" TV for about 8 hours from a 75 amp-hour battery (typically found in a van or recreation vehicle). The exact run time depends on the amount of power being drawn by the application and the size and condition of the battery.

Automatic shutdown and protection features

PROwatt 600 automatically shuts down at low voltage to prevent complete discharge of the vehicle's battery. This ensures that expensive batteries are protected from excessive depletion and also ensures that there is always enough charge to start the vehicle. When an appliance rated above 600 continuous watts is used with PROwatt 600, the inverter's electronics will automatically shut down the inverter without damaging the inverter or the appliance. PROwatt 600 also features short circuit protection and an over-temperature control that shuts down the inverter if it becomes overheated.
