It is a sad time for the world when we are required to think of thinks like emergency backup power in case of terrorism. The world would be a better place if people did not feel that civilians were the best people to kill to get a political point across. Unfortunately these are the times. I have created a terrorism emergency supply for my house in recent weeks. I by no means have set up some elaborate survival lair. I have only done what we do for most hurricanes in New Orleans. Store water, Food, Flashlights, and some sort of emergency power. We are using the Xantrex xpower 1500 as our emergency power for our safe room in our house. This unit will provide plenty of power for our radio or small tv we included in our supplies. Riding through a hurricane usually require 3 things patience, preparedness and power. We usually want to watch tv or listen to the radio when the power goes out. The xpower 1500 provides plenty of power for this. We are also carrying backup power inverters for your whole house, while not cheap these inverters keep you from knowing the power has ever gone off. Terrorism is a horrible thing we are faced with today. Those that wish to purposely kill innocent people including children have no sense, compassion, or religion except devil worship. Terrorist can cause a short term disruption of services. So I suggest keep an emergency kit with a few days of food , water, medicines, tv or radio and a power device in a safe place in your house.
